  2. Breathwork & Restorative Yoga

    February 26, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Studio A

Join us for this rejuvenating 2-hour yoga session. This workshop will allow you to draw into a deeper place inside yourself as you are guided through various pranayama techniques and supported, restful yoga asanas. Space is limited. Breathwork techniques are useful because you can do them anywhere and anytime. Focusing attention on your breath serves the meditative function of allowing the mind to easily release distressing thoughts and emotions. Restorative yoga is a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation and balance with the aid of props (blankets, pillows). The use of props makes it easier for you to maintain balance while you are stimulating and relaxing your body. While some restorative yoga poses are beneficial to the entire body, others target specific parts of the body, such as the heart or the lungs.
