The municipal court meets every Monday starting at 9 a.m. and hears cases related to municipal offenses, including traffic violations and other misdemeanor offenses, as well as DUI cases. The court is presided over by Municipal Judge Carlos Palmer. The courtroom is located in the Greenwood Police Department building at 406 Main Street.
If you owe back fines to the City of Greenwood, you may be eligible to participate in Greenwood's Amnesty Program. Participants agree to pay their fines on a set schedule without the penalties originally assessed by the municipal court. To see if you qualify for this program, contact the municipal court.
